Each individual living being has a frequency of wholeness and balance. That unique frequency is actually the result of different balanced frequencies within the cells, within the organs, within the systems. Each organ is an assemblage of like vibration cells aligned in a community of common purpose. The moments of living effect all of these frequencies, from the smallest cell to the vibrating system to the whole being. Unprocessed energy resulting from experience stays in the body awaiting cleansing. Once this process begins, the lowering of vibration soon follows. First effecting cells. The more a similar feeling or experience is held the greater the impact on the vibration of balance. Repeated holding results in greater compromise. It is easy to see how patterns of holding will continue to have greater pull on the beings vibration...precipitating an eventual condition, a dis-ease, that will likely get the attention and hopefully create change.

In the early stages the chakras are the holding areas for most of the unprocessed energy of living. Chakras are wheels of energy based in the physical but extending out through the auric bodies as well. They are entry and exit points for various frequencies of energy, communication portals, if you will. They each have a frequency of wholeness and balance. And, when aligned, will serve us well to allow a full experience of life in this dimension. When their spin diminishes, then interruption occurs.

Though there are upwards of 32 identified chakras within all the energy bodies, we are most concerned with the seven contained within the physical, and two more just below the feet and above the head. These energy portals are in cooperation with the body’s meridian system, the inner channels of energy used by acupuncturists. Blockages in energy for whatever reason dam up downstream. One part effects another. All are interrelated. This description could go deeper and deeper...but keeping the information of relevance to the healing musician is what is necessary. The overview underscores the necessity to address the chakras and meridians to keep the being in balance and purring. This is where pitch comes in...

Pitch is the identifiable number of oscillations of a sounding object, a string, or a cell. The physics of sound tells us that one sound can effect another. It can create chaos or it can resonate. We are looking for resonance. We can use a pitch to influence another pitch back to its correct frequency, because the holographic memory of each is strong and can identify its home frequency. Our work as a healer is to bring the system back into resonance.

Each chakra has a frequency of balance. The exact pitch may be in hundredths of hertz. But through a process called entrainment, where two vibrating objects will align in frequency based upon the harmonic structure, we can give a template pitch that is close enough to start the body’s own wisdom to align perfectly.

The seven in body chakras are the root, the sacral, the solar plexus, the heart, the throat, the brow, and the crown. 18 inches below the feet is the Earth Star chakra. 18 inches above the crown is the Soul Star chakra. Below I will list each chakra with its associated pitch, a phoneme that will zero in the sound  to the correct location in the physical body, and a color.
