Invocation is the act or process of petitioning for help or support; a prayer of entreaty (as at the beginning of a service of worship), b: a calling upon for authority or justification; (2) a formula for conjuring; and (3) to invite and declare the presence of a celestial being. Invocation requires openness and vision and a willingness to ask for help and assistance. And it necessitates a unswerving trust to act upon the guidance received. In other words it is an act of knowing that is empowered by accessing more and more.

The purpose of invocation in healing music is to seek higher outside assistance for specific purpose/type of dis-ease and to garner support from what the guide/teacher has to offer. I use invocation to set the tone of all events I facilitate in a generic way, calling for the Highest Good in all to be present. I call for all energetic beings aligned to the frequency of those in attendance be fully present and accessible for information, inspiration, and insight.

This kind of energy and intention can be energetically seeded in any of your creations. It will empower the composition to have a more significant impact upon the listener. Your songs will be awash with frequency and vibration far beyond the appearance.

I have created specific invocation songs to the Ascended Masters, Archangels, and Elohim assigned to the Seven Healing Rays that emanate from the Galactic Center of the Universe. These frequencies infuse powerful vibrations when called upon. As a sound healer, so much of your work is done in the etheric realms, working on the energy bodies of those who listen. When you call upon these beings to energetically infuse your compositions you are working in a multi-dimensional capacity, often clearing debris before it has a chance to manifest.

Depending upon your Spiritual persuasion you can create specific songs to invoke the presence of the familiar deities to co-join your compositions. These songs can be used to set an energetic tone for the songs that follow, to set the tone for a performance, to bring about a mind set or an open and receptive state.

For my work, I have learned that Ascended Masters request and enjoy music that acknowledges them, their capacities and gifts, and makes request upon them to dispense the vibration in some way. Archangels only like songs that use their name in an expression of acknowledgment, recognition, respect, and invitation. The frequencies of these names are powerful. Repeated sounding of their names (come in pairs with masculine and feminine identities and frequency) through the melody is a powerful tool of cleansing an energy field and preparing the way for their support and inspiration. With the Elohim pair, they like songs that name and invite them to share what they are bringing. All like something unique. It is honoring and calls forth their frequency alone. I really invite you to first sit with the name and let it resonate. Knowing some of their qualities and what they can bring is useful in getting a feel where you can place the song in the physical (key). Then let them guide you in creating the song. It is important to simply take the first idea and run with it. This is the direct guidance that they bring and the more you trust that the more fluid the relationship becomes. These same ideas can be applied to your creations with whichever etheric being you are called to create music for.

Listen to the songs on the player to get a sense of some of the invocation songs I have created and continue to use with great success.

Intentional Song

An intentional song is any song infused with specific, clear intention. As such they are very much like chants in that they are short and repetitive. They can utilize an affirmative statement, a bit of information, a request, a prayer, a statement of purpose, a calling for change, a statement of or a call to action, a know phrase. They are written as key based to empower their chakra impact. They use major and minor keys, depending on whether the directive is for internal or external awareness or action. They can be rhythmic or reflective or moody. Again, once you have your topic, I strongly suggest taking the first idea. Is it guitar based? Then pick up the guitar, choose the alignment key and start playing. The structure will manifest beneath your fingers. Once there is a feel and a chordal structure, then add the melody. I have a tendency to allow myself to create a melody of of sounds. Once I have what I am guided to use I start to add the specific lyric. Often it reveals itself. I would use the same approach with piano. Sometimes they are in a rhythmic chant form with only percussion…with a strong ethnic or native feel. Sometimes they are strictly vocal based. Follow guidance and trust the flow here.

Sometimes the song reveals itself in its full form. Often while driving I have these four liners drop in as I get closer to an event. I have learned that there is a vibration for each event and, as it approaches, the energies amass and begin to form the support energies. In that energetic soup there are songs just waiting to be pulled into the physical realm. Carry a digital recorder with you wherever you go. These ideas are sometimes fleeting and what was revealed in the moment may quickly pass in the oscillations of the next moment. Understand that when you open to this flowing process, you will become a vehicle. Spirit is always feeding us with what is necessary for heightened experience of the next moment. Ignoring this robs you of the magic of spontaneity. Knowing that all inspiration is two fold, for us and for the audience, pay attention to what is being revealed to you. No accidents here. Signing up to be a healing musician requires that you surrender to your own evolution and cleansing. The clearer you get then the clearer and more universal the music you assist in creating.

Intentional songs are born in the moment. They feed the current vibration. The more you demonstrate your trust and willingness to take action on inspiration the more present and powerful a vehicle you become. This is the realm of miracles. In the presence of an audience or a client you may be given the perfect vehicle to initiate a healing. If you ignore the inspiration, you miss the moment, which can have significant consequences. So develop these receive, trust, and act muscles so that you are the perfect flowing vehicle of inspiration in this golden moment.
