Week Twenty Six
Energetic Cleanse

That which is unspoken and that which is held becomes toxic in that it reduces your personal vibration. And since so much of what has been held is based on the moments of living this energy/information is stored in the lower chakras, right in the area where we are called to be fully in body, grounded in the solidness of the Earth. The amount of energetic debris you carry impacts your capacity to be grounded in your body in significant ways. Thus, it would follow that you get clear of that held information as quickly and as regularly as possible.

A conscious and purposeful program of regular energetic cleansing is highly desirable and can become a powerful personal daily routine. We are designed for health and longevity. The energetic debris compromises the design by diverting inner resources to not only holding the unexpressed in place but in attempting to make conscious contact with you to let that stuff go. If you are not listening the intensity of the contact attempts will only increase to result in a potential physical condition.

First, begin to pay attention to your body and notice where you feel sensation, pain, numbness, etc. Likely these are areas where energy is held. Bringing higher vibration to them is what is required. You do this by giving the area attention to then do one or all of the following:

  1. Dialogue with the sensation asking it for information about what it is and what message it has for you. Also ask how you can support the release of the energy.
  2. Turn your dialogue into non-dominant handwriting where you ask questions with your dominant hand and answer with your non-dominant hand. Takes getting used to and developing legibility but it can happen quickly to reveal to you a profound ongoing resource.
  3. Tune into the area and simply let it speak whatever it wants to. Better yet, rather than words which can carry the baggage of interpretation, just use sounds that spontaneously release from you. Allow them to sound as they desire at the pitch and tone and intensity that is there. Do so until you feel release and sense that you are done.
  4. In alignment with this practice daily toning where you cleanse your outer energy bodies of any vibrational debris that you pick up in your moments of living. Using the phonetic ah start sounding at a low pitch and then raise your voice up and down like a siren. Go to the extremes of your vocal range to make sure you cover the entire spectrum of your energetic bodies. Do this four of five times in a daily devotional cleanse.
  5. Make sure you speak all that needs to be spoken before going to bed each day. Create a ritual that has you saying what wasn’t said during the daily moments of living and interactions in the way that the energy is felt. Speak it into the water of the toilet. Let the water bind the energy and then flush when you feel complete. You will sleep better, have more expansive dreams, and feel so much better in the morning.
  6. Get out in nature to let the higher vibrations cleanse you. Get near water if possible. Lay down on the earth and visualize the release of the debris into the very Earth you are lying upon. On a windy day stand facing the wind and let it cleanse your auric field. Get some white sage and engage the practice of smudging regularly. When it rains spend some time out in it to allow the blessing of the wash of the ozonated air.
  7. Dance away whatever ails ya…
  8. Sing intentional songs of higher frequency that affirm life. Make up a song about letting go and releasing the old.

As you can see, clearing energy is a consistent daily practice of the informed human. Make this as regular as brushing your teeth. Your resulting balance will be the reward for your efforts…

Week Twenty Seven
Fast

Typically we are not aware of what goes on in the physical body, especially for the automatic process that the body performs so efficiently. Behind the scenes, out of mind, digestion, circulation, respiration, hydration, cell replacement, elimination, etc. occur. Too often we tax the body and do not give it a rest. And the miracle body that is so resilient sometimes needs some tender lovin’…actually, more often than the average user gives. So, learning a strategy or two that honors the body by giving it a break to recharge can be a powerful tool for grounding.

Enter fasting, actually, an ancient process of taking a break from eating/ingestion to give the digestive system a chance to clear out and cleanse. Fasting can take a variety of forms and can go for a duration that is flexible. In some ways, we fast on a daily basis when we go to sleep. For an average of 8 hours we refrain from adding food to the body and then in the morning, we break the fast by eating breakfast. It would follow that any food taken too close to sleep would involve the digestive system more than desirable in regards to fasting. Depending on when you go to bed, leave at least three hours since solid food was taken in. That will actually give you up to 10 hours for the digestive system to rest, repair, and recalibrate.

Fasting for one  24 hour cycle each week can be a recipe for increased health and energy. Doing a three day fast once a month or per quarter can have a host of benefits, some of which I will outline below. An extended fast of a week or longer can be a significant practice especially when facing a condition or dis-ease. Calling the body’s inherent natural healing capacity will often create “miracles” when traditional medicines did not do the job. A liquid fast is generally the most usable for the shorter fasts. Drinking purified water is best. Fresh juices can be very useful in providing added cleaning power as well as some nourishment, especially in the three day. Vegetable soups can be taken as well, preferably pureed. For longer fasts some will embark on a raw food (vegetables and fruits) fast to help clear the body of toxins that come from processed and cooked foods. It is useful to remember that vegetables are providers of high frequency sustained energy as a food source and also provide roughage to clear out the alimentary canal. Fruit is most often a cleanser and a provider of quick energy.

Know also that the longer the fast the greater the variation of moods and impact. Toxins are loosened and move through the bloodstream, creating potential temporary mood/energy swings. The benefit of the process far outweighs  discomfort.

You can explore the idea and practice of fasting online and find a host of particular practices and suggestions. Please remember that, if you are choosing to embark on an extended fast of a week or more, that you consult your medical practitioner before you begin.

Here are some of the benefits of using a fast. Remember that the positives grow the longer you fast, up to a point. From the Global Healing Center.com benefits include: Improve Body Composition and Fitness; Promotes greater satiety; boosts your metabolism; supports fat loss and ketosis; encourages better insulin sensitivity; improves cardiovascular health; lowers blood pressure; decreases blood sugar; improves blood tryglicerides; detoxifies; decreases inflammation; improves cell recycling; reduces harmful protein production; promotes healthy stress response; enhances recovery from injury; and supports healthier collagen in skin.

This list does not even address the impact on emotional well being, mental clarity, and an expanded spiritual sense. It is obvious that fasting is something that would benefit your life by incorporation. Clearing the body is a sure way to open the door for more conscious living in it…which is the foundation of any grounding strategy. So, take a break from eating…

Week Twenty Eight
Choose/Do What Gives You Life

Being ungrounded is often the result of doing the same learned behavior over and over. Depending on our upbringing/programming, we might be living out decisions made a long time ago that do not apply anymore. Too often we are taught about responsibility and work and taking care of others. Many put their own enjoyment of life on the back burner while they expend inner resources and energy in taking care of the world. The irony here is that by taking care of self and needs first, then the energetic foundation to be present with others in clarity is amplified.

Perhaps you do not know what would be life-enhancing for you because it has been so long since you served that part of you…first. So, it would be useful to rediscover and get familiar with what might make you feel more engaged in your own life.

Make a list of all the things that bring you joy, leave you feeling more alive, lift your energy and your spirit. Make them about you, not about what you should be doing by others standards. Start with one thing. Maybe it is taking a walk outside in a beautiful piece of nature. Maybe it is going to a movie that you have wanted to see. Perhaps it is about making a great tasting and nourishing meal for yourself. Maybe it is spending quality time with a friend.

There are no limits to what you can do that feeds you higher frequency life force. Doing something that feels good impacts you on a multitude of levels, mood, spirit, energy, health, balance, connection with life…

It is all about living. It is not about doing the company line. Your zeal and zest are inherent and need to be activated on a regular basis. It is you doing you…full out. Many of the things that bring us joy were actually done as a child, before consequences took over and stole the desire. GO there and remember when you were delighted about life. It’s likely that your list is simple, actions that took little planning, effort, or time. They probably involved your imagination and creativity.

To feel alive is really a choice that you have in every moment. Feeling bad is a personal choice…as well. We determine the nature and experience of the next moment by our responses to Now. It really is an attitude that you bring to the table. Look for beauty and life everywhere and in everyone. If someone is living, they have a spark that can be fanned into flame. Exhilaration is contagious. Notice how you can impact the mood and energy of another with your high frequency experience of your life.

Take your moments and remember that you have a choice as to how you will respond. Choose life. Choose the road that has the most adventure, the greatest potential for a new experience, the greatest opportunity to live fully. Your Higher Self will orchestrate your moments with or without you. By consciously engaging each form that is laid at your feet, you are showing good faith in that support and guidance and opening up an even more profound relationship.

Make your list of 25 things you could do to feel more alive. Keep it handy and choose to do one of them a day at least. You might find that this is one of the most expansive things that you do. Know it will lead to something else. Choose the path of living in all that you do. Life is alive! Opah!

Week Twenty Nine
Complete Tasks

Unfinished business hangs over us and weighs us down significantly. Do something…take action. In the Western world we are about doing. There is an undue amount of pressure and stress on us to archive, to make something happen. Many have learned to juggle tasks and responsibilities in the name of having lots of irons in the fire. Honestly, this tends to spread us thin.

There is something about completion. It is a process that has moved from idea to application to finish, when we can engage celebration and feelings of personal accomplishment.

Too many of us engage in start and stop. We have a fire for something  and invest time and energy and focus in the early days. When we reach the inevitable plateaus in progress some will turn to something new and exciting and the old project lies collecting dust. This, in some ways, is the learned short attention span, immediate gratification syndrome that plagues humanity, at least the “civilized” part. Many cannot simply hold a focus. The internal debris and the quagmires of energy rob us of the capacity to fully attend to that which is before us for very long. We get distracted. Losing the fire is really a choice, just like boredom. A shift in perspective is what could remedy this. But, many will jettison the project in lieu of something fresher and more exciting…for awhile.

The will center is what suffers here. Repeated starts and stops weakens the muscles of the will. It won’t be long before someone has trouble making decisions and taking any kind of action. One can become apathetic and allow their attention to drift. If this involves work then it can be impactful to one’s bottom line as well. The Solar Plexus Chakra, Will Center, have to be massaged and exercised by follow through and a commitment to staying with the task. Completion allows resolution and a clear ending that leads to the resting necessary to incubate energy and ideas for the next opportunity before us. If we are juggling to much then we cannot give full effort to any of it for any real sustained time.

So, reflect on all that you have facing you. How many things are engaged but static? How many projects are undone? How many of these are you still interested in? What is your attention span length? What are your habits around projects that you feel a lack of investment? How long does the thrill last with something new? All good and useful questions…

Incompletion stirs the energetic pot and leads to agitation, frustration, distraction, self criticism, diversionary thinking and acting, turning to substance…none of which are grounding in the least bit. When the body stirs we likely seek a way to reduce the sensations and symptomologies. And, as we know, these solutions are likely less than productive. Body resources are diverted to distractions and nothing gets completed, personal or business wise. Likely this does not serve you.

One of the things we can do is to consciously start exercising the will with simple activities that can easily move to solution and completion. Build success and then use the momentum of that to move into greater tasks that will require the repeated re-focusing and adjusting that are a necessary part of any successful journey. For example, sy you are going to do something (get up for a drink of water), then go do it. Upon completion, appreciate your self and your efforts. Job well done…complete. Build many of these conscious exercises into your moments of the day and soon you will find that you are more able to hold a focus and tend to what is before you.

Go back to your lists and select one or two that are more important. Get started and keep your awareness on sticking to the task before you. Keep records if that works for you. Acknowledge your successes and movement forward. When you do reach a point that feels complete, then let it go and enjoy the accomplishment. After a short break of doing not much at all, return to your list for the next thing. After a few successes you can begin to add a simple task or two to show your capacity to multi-task. Follow the same celebration process. Build those muscles and create a reliable inner environment that knows how to hold focus and attend that which is before you to facilitate gratifying completion.

Week Thirty
Be Present for Others

Usually we think of grounding as an internal process. It is and yet, when we are really ungrounded, looking and then focusing outward can be a very powerful and effective tool to bring back the balance. The challenge for the ungrounded is mostly the mind. The conscious mind has been trained through repetition and social  influence to become distracted with itself. It flits about like a honey bee from flower to flower, idea to idea, thought to thought, staying nowhere for long. This, in itself creates agitation and, when paired with triggered bodily sensation, can lead one from balance rather quickly, even amplifying the condition, leading to anxiety.

Learning to calm the inner world, still the body, and refocus the mind is what this whole course journey is about. Until this is in place, functioning smoothly and reliably, then one has to divert the consciousness to shiny objects outside of the energetic bodies. The senses are the perfect vehicle to use for this to happen. The senses, by definition, pay attention to energetic input. They do so even when we are not even aware of it. They are in some ways, dumbed down, sensitivity diminished, to allow us to function on a moment to moment basis, without being overwhelmed by the amount of energetic input that is really there.

We are most familiar with sight. As such, we can easily call upon that sense and redirect to become the noticer of what is there. It is merely a matter of name what you see. When you look you purposely focus on something and say, for example. “I see a blue car”. Then, with no attachment or need to annotate you move to the next thing you see. “I see the clouds in the sky”…on and on you go simply naming where your gaze/focus falls. Before you know it the inner chaos has dissipated. Return your awareness now to the calm inner state and bring attention to the feet.

As soon as you attend to the feet, you are fully back in the body. Add some deep breaths, a little movement, a drink of water, a little sound or speaking of the birth name…and voila, in the balanced state.

This is a simple activity that works. It has to be spoken verbally out loud. Engaging the hearing amplifies the shift in focus. Whether you are being troubled with body sensations or a runaway mind spewing out stinkin’  thinkin’, this works. Learning when to go out instead of in is an essential tool for being present in the Earth Plane. Learn it now and apply it often as necessary. Life will change…yes, it will.

Not only will this process be grounding but it will increase your presence with others, opening you up to greater community, diminishing those feelings of doing it all alone that sometimes creep in. Becoming an engaged member of the human community is quite desirable, especially in these growing times of Oneness unfolding.
