Meeting and Blending with Higher Self, Amorah Quan Yin, from Awakening Your Divine Ka

Following is the meditation for meeting and blending with your Higher Self:

1. Close your eyes and ground yourself.

2. Pull in your aura or extend it as needed to two to three feet around your body in every direction. Check your boundary colors and roses, and make any needed changes.

3. Ask your Higher Self to come and stand in front of you and help you see or sense its humanlike form.

4. When your Higher Self is in front of you, extend your hands, palms facing away from your body, and invite your Higher Self to connect with you palm-to-palm.

5. Allow the energy from your Higher Self's hands to enter your body through your arms and hands and fill your heart. Then let it overflow your heart and fill up your body. This takes from two to five minutes.

6. When you sense the energy running through you, ask your Higher Self if it has a name you can call it. Listen in as relaxed a manner as possible. If no name is given after about a minute, go on to the next step.

7. Drop the hand connection and ask your Higher Self to stand behind you for the chakra bonding.

8. Inhale through your crown chakra, and ask your Higher Self for a cord of light from its crown to yours. When you feel the connection, move on.

9. Inhale through the center of the back of your head, and ask your Higher Self to send a cord of light from its third eye, or sixth chakra, to the back of your third eye. When you feel the connection, continue with the next step.

10. Inhale through the back of your neck, and ask your Higher Self to send a cord of light from its throat chakra, or fifth chakra, into the back of your throat chakra. When you feel the connection, move on.

11. Inhale through the back of your heart chakra between your shoulder blades, and ask your Higher Self to send a cord of light from its heart chakra, or fourth chakra, to the back of your heart chakra. When you feel the connection, move on.

12. Inhale through the small of your back, directly opposite your solar plexus, and ask your Higher Self to send a cord of light from the front of its solar plexus, or third chakra, into the back of your solar plexus. When you sense the connection, move on.

13. Inhale through your sacrum, and ask your Higher Self to send a cord of light from its sacral chakra, or second chakra, to the back of your sacral chakra. When the connection is made, move on.

14. Inhale through your tailbone, and ask your Higher Self to send a cord of light from its root chakra, or first chakra, into your root chakra. At this point, feel the gentle surge or wave of energy move from behind you through your body to your front. This is your Higher Self fully blending with your body. You may feel more expansive, light, peaceful, joyful, filled with love, or just a general sense of well-being. Relax into that space for as long as you want before you move to the next step. If there is any part of your body in which the blending seems not to be occurring, breathe into that area and relax it until you feel the energy shift as your Higher Self is able to blend with you there.

15. Ask your Higher Self what gift it would like to receive from you. Then give it. If you want an explanation about the significance of this gift, ask now.

16. Now extend your hands in front of you and receive a gift from your Higher Self. Hold the gift, feeling its energy, and look at it. If you want to ask your Higher Self what the gift means, do so.

17. When you are ready, place the gift in your body or aura wherever you sense it belongs.

18. Ask your Higher Self if it has anything to communicate to you at this time. Remain relaxed and receptive, and feel the connection as you listen for a reply. You mayor may not receive a message.

19. When you feel complete, tell your Higher Self that you want to become permanently bonded with it. Ask your Higher Self to help you with that goal in any way that is appropriate. Tell your Higher Self that you will connect again soon, and ask it to remain bonded with you to whatever extent possible at this time, evenwhen you are not meditating.

20. Become aware of the air in the room flowing in and out of your nostrils. Then become aware of your physical environment, and open your eyes slowly and gradually. Before going on with your day, take a few moments to feel the energy connection with your Higher Self with your eyes open. Notice how you feel centered and calm. Remain present with whatever you do from one moment to the next to assist in maintaining the connection.
