Born in 1952 in the United States, I grew up in what may have been the poster child decade for polarity and duality, two essential elements of this Earth Plane dimensional make-up…until these unprecedented Aquarian Times. These have been referred to as the the American Dream era. Post WWII and post Korean Conflict There was a strong effort to expand the middle class and put two cars in every garage.
Television was black and white only and had many sit-coms portraying the perfect American family…Father Knows Best. Roles were established and perpetrated even to these transformational days. Black and white indeed. It was a time of either/or. Choose a side and fight for it. There was no in between. And there certainly was no place for balance.
Internally, people became good at doing what they were told. In rows in school one did what they were supposed to do. If they toed the line there was the promise of the good life. Everything was laid out to fulfill the American Dream. People kept their feelings, if they even realized they had them, to themselves. Words were not spoken. Therapy was frowned upon and implied weakness. Martini lunches and after work nightcaps became the social norm as people tried hard to squash the inner sensations, or feelings, from exploding out.
Suffice it to say that this forced restriction of the natural design led to rebellion. The Boomers divided along black and white lines and, while one side served to hold the status quo, the other side went wild. There was an explosion of the unspoken and the rules that had directed lives for so long were cast aside. And, yet, even in this new expression, the polarity and duality held on…growing the two sides in separation.
Balance, or the blending of the extremes or polarities to embrace the best of both was far off in the distance, though rumblings from the East via the Maharishi was stirring the pots of those wild ones on the left. The increased use of drugs was lifting off the lid of limited beliefs in a predictable controllable world revealing the living color of the true vibrating life. One side did expansive drugs and the other used alcohol or prescription drugs to numb out and force the restriction into lethal pockets that would one day ignite. And when, if ever, will the twains meet?
To me, the idea of balance felt like a nothingness. I was raised on extremes. From swallow what is up and be quiet or act out and be dramatic. Actual conversation and seeking mutual satisfying solution had not been invented yet. Tough it out, lad! Don’t you go snivelin’ now, and acting like a sissy! Even in the late 80’s when I was already engaged in the sin of therapy and found Unity New Thought Churches to inspire my songwriting I found myself faced with the unfolding idea of balance and was confused and hesitant to address it. I was used to the excitement of the extremes by then and the middle ground seemed fake.
But, I pressed ahead, and began to write about that mystery land, balance. Here is one of the first…
BALANCE
Oh, a lion will pass on a plant or a weed
On tender little antelope he will feed
Antelope won't eat a lion or a mouse
A plant or weed is delicious in his mouth
Butterfly won't eat a frog on a pond
It's sweet, sweet flowers he will dine upon
A frog likes butterflies on his tongue
He won't eat flowers not a single one
There's a little bit o' day, there's a little bit o' night
A sun and a moon, a left and a right
Wet time, dry time, a hot and a cold
Little ones born while the others grow old
Mountains, valleys, sky of blue
Puffy white clouds, grey ones, too
There's a wind and a calm, there's rain and snow
There's balance in nature wherever you go
Balance, see the balance, hear the balance
Feel the balance in you
Balance, see the balance, feel the balance
Live in balance, balance, balance
There are plants this short, trees this tall
Animals big and insects small
There's a winter and a summer , a spring and fall
Silent fish and the hoot owl's call
Species thriving, extinct ones, too
Buffalo roaming, some in a zoo
Look at nature's perfect plan
There's peace in balance....understand?

Always use nature as the example because it is safe and obvious. You can see this song is full of the duality of life. Seems contradicting to the idea of balance…but when you realize that the embracing of the extremes allows the whole panorama of the in between to be revealed and available, then you can see how Nature has stocked the smorgasbord. Because, as you know, this is also the domain of free will and personal choice. As an I Am That I Am Expressing As Me we are here to experience the panorama individually to provide Source with the infinite variation in action. Perfect!
WHEN THE BALANCE IS TRUE
There will come a day
And it won’t be long
I will stand right up
I will be so strong
I’ll be filled with the Light
I’ll be open wide
Every cell in me
Will be unified
I will raise my hands
I will lift my eyes
I will shout to the world
I Am alive
I will dwell in the now
I will flow like the wind
I’ll be solid on the Earth
Like I never have been
I will build a life of beauty
Fill it up with love
Manifest all I desire
Whatever I dream of
I will have all that I need to be
The everything I Am
The love of God will flow through me
Pouring through my hands
When the balance is true
When the balance is true

21 The Gift of Inner Balance
Our energetic design is one of remarkable balance. The cooperative relationship between the energetic bodies is a masterpiece of creation, allowing for communication and support to keep things purring. The challenge is the physical, emotional, and mental bodies. Due to the dualistic nature of the Earth plane dimension, these bodies are subject to compromise. Lower frequency thought patterns lead to limiting beliefs. Social, cultural, and familial patterns and traditions promote misinformation that becomes consistent choices…resulting in imbalance and dis-ease.
With an outward focus the tradition of humanity, the inner world gets short changed. This lack of care impacts us significantly. Fortunately, the times they are a changin’. The infusion of higher frequencies and expanded DNA capacity is opening the inner awareness doors to the value of and the tools for balancing. We are seeing and experiencing how conscious care and practice are resulting in a clearer, more powerful being. The inner world needs tending. The skills are becoming readily available, through deeper education and downloads.
Learning about the chakra system, the meridians, the energetic bodies, the flow of energy, the impact of sound frequency, the use of mantra and chant and intentional song, are expanding us all. The knowledge reactivates the inner knowing/programming to respond quickly to any application of balance tools (some will be suggested below).
Learning to live in balance is another frontier being crossed, as well. Generations of living in the highs and lows of drama and neglect have made balance seem like a land of limbo, a world of no feeling, that is undesirable, or, at least, uncomfortable. It is becoming apparent that balance is a place of peace, a frequency where power abounds, a domain of clarity and creativity, a field of gold where the body systems, on all levels, function perfectly to open endless doors of possibility. The more inner balance is practiced the more the outer world responds in a reflective, supportive, cooperative show of harmony.
Fully accepting and applying this gift requires awareness, will, choice, and action. Noticing the many signals coming from the inner is a sure means to consistent action. One must monitor energy, listen to the body’s calls, maintain daily practice, and establish sustainable routines in order to insure balance in a world where imbalance is pushing constantly at us. I invite you to embark on this ongoing journey. The rewards are obvious. This dimension is so much more than we have allowed. This is a sure way to expand and experience.
The balance is a launch pad for life. Exploring the extremes as they drift into our altar of awareness can be useful in giving us a greater awareness of what is moving within us (as reflected on the outside). The balance is actually a moment in time, followed by adjustments, new actions, and unfolding moments of imbalance in which we practice our own Presence. TO be blissed out seems like a desirable state, but is it really? Too much of the same thing builds resistance to the flowing and changing vibratory nature of life. Every time we raise vibration new forms and experiences are attracted to that new frequency. It just keeps dancing throughout the length of the current incarnation. It is still what the Earth Plane is about, variation of experience while walking the path of waking up to remember our own design magnificence.
Consider reclaiming the balance as personal sport.
The true nature of balance is that it is ever changing in the Cosmic flow as attracted by your frequency and energetic choices and thoughts/beliefs just before the now moment. It serves you. You feel it, then see it, then choose to experience it so that it delivers to you the Highest Frequency for your own remembering. Life serves life. The balance is neither the East or the West but all the lands in between in their glory and their pitfalls.
Can you see that in some ways, we are not even capable of accessing balance until we engage and surrender to the flow. That allowance exposes the characteristics of living in the balance just for you. No guru, mystery school, channel, or Hay House author has your answer. At best they provide you with a thought or perspective that reveals you more from the inside in a way that you can use on the outside to align your moments of living. What?
Flow to create the balance and be aware of how precious each moment’s special delivery forms serve you.Live in that frequency and you will always be the current expression of you incarnated.
Cool…
