(STEP INTO) EVERYTHING YOU ARE
Fan the flame in the heart of your essence Open up the Mind
Let the ego fade away with time
Find the selfless place of service breathe in the Power sublime
Let the fragments finally realign
Step into Holiness where Life and Love they coalesce
Step into everything you are
lift up the weariness oh, don't resist, say yes oh, yes
You can be all of what you are
Cultivate compassion and caring walk at humility's side
Let the Presence through you magnify
Transform the ordinary into the wildly Divine
Let Love be the ever-present guide
I open up today

FOR JUST THIS MOMENT
For just this moment I've lived a thousand lives
For just this moment I have been tested and tried
For just this moment I stand here open wide
Let the Light and the Love pour in
For just this moment I have become what I am
For just this moment I balance woman and man
For just this moment I rise and reach out my hand
Let the Light and the Love pour in
And all the treasures of the Universe
Rain upon this blessed life
Stand as a testament to a world quickly changing
Shine as a pillar of Light while darkness tumbles down
Feel the power of Love that flows like an endless river
Touch the presence of One who rises deep inside I Am That I Am
Gather the strength and the heart to blast the grand illusion
Call to the pioneers who will move as one for all
Walk with angels who bring the fire to feed the passion
Ride the hurricane to smash the deadly tide I Am That I Am
For just this moment we all have all that we need
For just this moment our songs are ready to sing
For just this moment we are in unity
Let the Light and the Love pour in
Let the Light and the Love pour in Let the Light and the Love pour in

LET’S HAVE SOME ACTION
Time for change it's time for new direction
I've come to this conclusion through reflection
Lay down thoughts and habits that don't serve me
Throw away the fears that swerve me
Got the courage got the truth
The wind is right the sky is blue
Just one thing left to do
Change Let's have some action
Easy to complain and stay the same
Easy to deny and love the pain
Easy to feel hopeless wait for savin'
Easy to find reasons not worth sayin'
Kick and scream push and shove
Analyze hate and love
Yell out loud to God above
But change Let's have some action
Start to live the dream you've been denyin'
Feed the body food for purifyin'
Open up the shade to let the light in
Just do it and never be the same
Rise up singing greet the blessed moment
Don't much matter where just get goin'
Lay down limitations right this mornin'
The train is leaving children get on board
Clean the attic pick the weeds
Thin the closet plant the seeds
Take the step let's all agree
To change Let's have some action
I'm gonna change gonna change gonna change this mornin'
I'm gonna change gonna change gonna change right now

WHO ARE YOU TODAY?
Even if you don't believe Even if you still can't see Won't you listen?
Even if your heart is cold Even if you're feeling old
Won't you listen to the sound?
Are you wishing you could alter what's unfolded in your life?
'Are you thinking of your failures overcome by strife
Just where do you stand at this point in your life?
Who are you today?
Even if you got it made Even if you're unafraid won't you listen
Even if you feel secure Even if you are sure
Won't you listen to the sound
Is it really what you think it is this thing you call your life?
Are you spinning 'round in circles just a step ahead of strife?
Oh, where do you stand at this point in your life?
Who are you today?
Who are you today does it make you happy?
Who are you today do you understand?
What would you change what would you leave?
What is real what's make-believe?
Who are you today?
Even if you're down the road
Even if you've reached your goals won't you listen?
Even if you've found your hill Even if you stand fulfilled
Won't you listen to the sound?
Are you tasting every moment that comes into your life?
Do you see the opportunities hidden in your strife?
Where do you stand at this point in your life?
Who are you today?

A BRAND NEW STORY
I have lived the blues and I have had a hard, hard life
I’m not for complainin’, but hey, if you’ve got the time
It started as a little one my daddy drove away
Mom was entertaining I was sent outside to play
Love has not been cuddly, love has not been kind
That’s just the way it is, that’s the story of my life
40 years I’ve told this tale, I’ve made it what I am
I’ve walked the path it laid for me, I held it by the hand
Last night I was thinkin’, this stories’ so damn old
Would my life be different if I went and let it go?
So, Lord, I stand before you as naked as a babe
I’m takin’ that old story and throwing it away
I want a brand new story
I want a brand new life
I want a brand new story
The old one’s goin ‘ and I wave bye bye
Startin’ right now I’m gonna write
A brand new story
I could make it fabulous, fill it up with love
I could be successful, I’d be several cuts abov
Lose the co-dependency, the struggle and the stance
Be the one I want to be, sing and play and dance
It just takes my decision to put the old to rest
Step into the glory of a life alive and blessed
I want a brand new story
I want a brand new life
I want a brand new story
The old one’s goin ‘ and I wave bye bye
Startin’ right now I’m gonna write
A brand new story

TO LET GO
This might be the day this might be the time
This might be the moment that opens up my eyes
Rosh Hosanna let the new year begin
Release the worn out celebrate within
Round and round this life it goes in a sacred dance
In every breath I see myself and get another chance
My heart is burning for expression screaming for the Light
Reaching for Eternity this I can’t deny
God help me please to let go 3x
This is the time I must let go oh
For all the deeds I’ve done for all that I have been
I release it all right now and I begin again
I cleanse the habits I cleanse the mind
I cleanse the memories cleanse and purify
Yom Kippur atonement a day of giving up
Taking out the garbage emptying the cup
Jump into the darkness shake the serpent's cage
Crawl through the labyrinth there is no other way
God help me please to let go 3x
This is the time I must let go oh
Forgive my transgressions forgive me for lies
Forgive manipulations forgive my shadow side
Forgive me for judgments forgive my delay
Forgive me for distance forgive me this day
Let the sun go down let the praying begin
Take away my sustenance hang me on a limb
Lay my self before me heaped upon a tray
I shall rummage through it and toss the dirt away
I’ll take the essence of my holiness I’ll take all that is right
Blend them all together close my eyes real tight
Let the alchemy take over feel the power rise
I shall be the I AM when I open up my eyes
God help me please to let go 3x
This is the time I must let go oh
Hear me clear me let my spirit fly
Free me from the limits I have placed upon my life

APPROACHING MID-LIFE
I’m standing here in Summer’s light
My eyes are fixed upon the sight of
Yesterday who’s waving me goodbye
With smiles as I turn away There’s nothing left that I can say
We lived it well I feel like I should cry
Changes come Life moves on
Celebrate every moment everything
There’s happiness surrounding me I’m beckoned by some destiny
That giggles at the mention of my name
Child-like voices sing their songs
They say don’t hurry but don’t be long
There’s something that we know you’d like to see
Changes come life moves on
Celebrate every moment everything
I’m 44 approaching mid-life open arms and open eyes
I’m ready for whatever comes along
I’m stepping out not holding out
This is what this time’s about
I just let go and give my heart away
Hear me now I won’t live in the shadow no more...
I am filled with love I know it I shall free it I shall show it
I shall dance with love upon the hill
Don’t wait around just come right now we’re busting out of that corral
There’s a wild, wild horse in everyone
I wanna taste the fruit of all forbidden
I wanna walk the halls of mystery
I wanna stand in the cauldron of life’s fire
I wanna go come on with me
Happy birthday everyone it’s a beginning the past is done
It’s over now lay the burden down
Life she beckons life he calls life says jump life says fall
It’s over now lay your burden down
Changes come life moves on
Celebrate every moment everything
I’m 44 approaching mid-life open arms and open eyes
I’m ready for whatever comes along
I’m stepping out not holding out
This is what this time’s about
I just let go and give my heart away
Hear me now I won’t live in the shadow no more...
Happy birthday everyone it’s a beginning the past is done
It’s over now lay your burden down....

WHEREVER I GO, THERE I AM
Wherever I go, there I Am, I change my place and there I stand
Wherever I go, there I Am, It’s me with me, hand in hand
So let me breathe into this moment Let me fully feel alive
And I will Be the me that I was meant to be
Always in acceptance It’s just a fact that
C June 21, 1999. Mark Stanton Welch.
IT DOESN’T MATTER
It doesn't matter It really doesn’t matter
All the things that I worry about
Why not take this moment And fully live this moment
Stop trying to figure it out
I let the good vibration Come and sweep me away
Let it go Let it flow Here and now
C February 1, 2004. Mark Stanton Welch.
TUNING
Into the silence I tune to the sound
Divine Inspiration comes dancing around
A sweet swirling peace softens my heart
And I’m simply carried away
To the magical mind and the heavenly heart
Where I’m given the means from whence I do start
To move into action to chart the best course
The silence gives birth to the dream
C May 31, 2004. Mark Stanton Welch.
I WENT OUT UNDER HEAVEN
I went out under heaven To seek the great I AM
I heard the Heaven’s speak to seek with all my heart
“Give your Self to me, Child
You must give Me every thought each breath each moment
Love me like you’ve never loved before
And I’ll reveal all that your soul is thirsting for”
To what do you give time?
What lures you to devote your moments brings you pleasure
Fills your cupboards and your well?
“And if you would be free, child
Would you fill your life with little here and there
Or would you grasp the answer to it all
Would you surrender let Me catch you as you fall?”
In every element each atom of existence
There lie answers to the secrets never told
Suppose you placed devotion
Left each ounce of your resistance
Believing in each part there lies the Whole
Then you would see the interweavings
And the dance of all creation
You would hear the melody of peace and love
You would be purified in waters of the endless Holy Rivers
As they kiss you and caress your tender soul
“Give your all to me
Fall in love with every speck of dust it sings
And longs to wrap around your heart
Hear the gentle voice, child
Fall in love with Life give freely all your being
And so it shall be given back to you
For in the living lies the Essence and the Truth
I went out under heaven...I found Love...

LIFE IS A WONDER
Life is not a problem to solve at your computer
It’s not a calculation it defies all control
It won’t be weighed or measured or summed up by a rule
It can’t be caught with words or stuffed inside a book
Life is a mystery that beckons us to live it live it
Life it is a wonder
A taste of space and time a gift of a graceful power
Beyond the understanding an everyday surprise
A flowing evolution a rolling endless sea
A voice that sings surrender a song that says let go
Life is a mystery that beckons us to live it live it
Life it is a wonder
It’s a baby opening her eyes it is a wonder
It’s an eagle calling as he flies it is a wonder
It’s a door that opens when we die hello hello
Gather every moment make a spring bouquet
Jump right off that mountain kick off your shoes and stroll
Chase the butterflies feel the sun ascending
Take that strangers hand and love right through the walls
Life is a mystery that beckons us to live it live it
Life it is a wonder
It’s a baby opening her eyes it is a wonder
It’s an eagle calling as he flies it is a wonder
It’s a door that opens when we die hello hello
Life it is a wonder let it live in you
life it is a wonder in everything you do...

Call it poetry or song. It speaks in ways that prose cannot. I wanted to remind you of some additional ways to live in the now and drink the juice of life in expression. The Light Lane is the ultimate flowing journey where the moment births the next through your participation and response. Life serves you without hesitation. No question about it.What are you placing an order for? Is your now an invitation for the life you desire and deserve? Is it reflecting your personal relationship with your own big picture? Live it…love it. That is your constant choice in the moments you are given, pay attention to your own altar of awareness. You will be blessed beyond the current level of awareness…you are well cared for, my friend.. Please take advantage of it….
